Job Summary
The Aerospace Supply Chain organization is searching for an experienced subcontracts administrator to join our team for a casual temporary assignment. Our Supply Chain organization manages all aspect of procurement for the entire corporation. We provide the opportunity to be a part of a diverse team that purchases a wide range of capital, indirect and government funded products and services including IT, specialized equipment, facilities services and engineering, design, and construction.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Partnering with customers to support early engagement in the purchasing cycle to support documentation, subcontracting strategy, sourcing etc.
· Strategic sourcing and procurement of direct charge goods and services Issuing RFI’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s, leading source selection, negotiating, processing and award of requirements.
· Documenting the procurement package in accordance with company policies and procedures.
· Post award management to include regular reviews, invoice review, change management etc.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
· High Diploma or equivalent
· Experience and a solid understanding of and managing Purchase orders and Subcontracts under government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
· In depth knowledge of FAR/DFAR based Government Subcontracting to include all contract types
· 5 plus years professional experience managing Government Subcontracts and Procurements
· Technical leadership and contractual competencies to form strategies to construct and execute contractual activities utilizing various contracting types that are developed based on the need of each organization.
· Ability to partner with key customers on a wide variety of Supply Chain & Subcontract requirements, provide strategic guidance, lead subcontract efforts and integrate contracting strategies into source selection, negotiation, subcontracting, and post-award subcontract administration
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Supply Chain, Business Administration, and/or related field
· SAP experience
· Experience in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via power point presentations to various audience including Senior Management
· Experience working in the aerospace industry supporting government direct charge
· Extensive knowledge of requirements/regulations, including FAR/DFAR, to ensure compliance with the federal government
