About the Role
The Lyra Finance Team is looking for a team member to assist in managing new products and business strategy. This data driven position will be responsible for the forecasting, analysis, and presentation of key financial business metrics especially as they relate to financial performance. The role will help shape and communicate our business strategy through a Financial lens. Beyond fundamental analysis, this role will use their data analytics experience to work closely with the Product, Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Data orgs to strategically evaluate new products. The Strategic Finance Manager will be responsible for identifying and addressing key requirements of data collection, metrics, pricing, and operationalizing new products. A successful candidate will have experience in working with Sales and Product teams as well as an in-depth knowledge of applied data and operations.
Responsibilities
- Forecast, track, and report on key financial performance metrics including presentation of variance versus forecast and identifying variance drivers
- Represent Finance and Accounting interests in the design and build of new product offerings. Identify opportunities for scalability and ways to improve our product offerings and pricing in line with our business strategy
- Review and analyze product performance and pricing. Provide recommendations for structural and procedural improvements
- Evaluate and improve our accurate collection of product and business data. Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to structure data for easy access and analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Finance Experience, Experience with Pricing/Sales preferred; Healthcare experience a plus
- BA/BS in quantitative discipline (Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering)
- Intermediate SQL and data analytics experience; Data focused programming (R, Python, MATLAB) a plus
- Advanced Excel experience
- Experience building statistics-driven financial models
- Comfortable working with teams and stakeholders across the business
