LeaseQuery is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring that lease accounting data is accurately recorded into our software, as well as reconciling reports. If you are detail-oriented and want to try a non-traditional accounting career, then this role may be for you.

What you will be doing:

• Assist existing clients with implementing their lease accounting data into our software
• Review Lease documents and ensure accuracy of data onboarded into LeaseQuery
• Reconciling account balances and advising clients on needed adjustments
• Work with project managers to ensure timely delivery of our software to clients
• Acting as a consultant to CFO’s, Controllers and Directors of Financial Reporting
• Work and communicate effectively with other team members
• Help other departments and team members when called upon
• Adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities and work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
• Other duties as assigned

What skills and experience we need you to have:

• A 4-year degree in Accounting 
• 1 to 3 years experience working in accounting/finance preferred
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others
• CPA and prior knowledge of lease accounting is NOT required.
