Staff Accountant, Commissions
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounting for our sales commissions and related other customer acquisition costs.
• Looking for an accountant that is willing to learn the ins and outs of commissions. We will train.
• Collaborate with the sales commissions and revenue recognition teams as needed for proper recording and documentation of commission related expenses.
• Assist with processing the Company's policy to defer and recognize commission/partner fee expense over the applicable period.
• Assist with analyzing commissions/partner fees in accordance with ASC 606.
• Prepare and record monthly commissions and partner fee journal entries in accordance with ASC 606.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations of accrued partner fees and accrued Agent fees.
• Assist with general accounting tasks and projects, such as process development and documentation, additional monthly close tasks, audit requests, and other special projects.

Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in Salesforce.com, Xactly, Intacct, and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Access) a plus. Intermediate Excel skills are required.
• Detail oriented with excellent communication skills required.
• Experience working in a team environment required.
• Experience with a publicly traded company a plus.
