About The Role

Esper is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting team in Bellevue, WA. This role will focus on the financial statement process and supporting all departments with their business needs.

Why This Role Is Unique

We recently took the department in house, so there is ample opportunity for implementing and improving processes and the Staff Accountant will play a large role in that. This is a new position so the selected candidate will be able to work with the Controller to really make an impact! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn all aspects of the business!

What You'll Have Ownership Of

• Monthly financial statement close - bank/schedule reconciliations
• Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
• Regular cost reporting and ad hoc analysis
• Implement costs savings/efficiency ideas
• Support Controller in payroll/audit/tax/consolidation
• Room for additional responsibilities as we establish good processes

You Have The Following Skills and Experience

• 4 year degree in Accounting/Finance
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stay organized and hit deadlines
• Certifications a plus but not required
