Grow your career as a Staff Accountant within ALG Vacations, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. The Staff Accountant is responsible for processing accounting transactions in support of the Vacations brands. This position provides support to leadership to ensure that month end close, account reconciliations, and audit processes are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with policy.

A Successful Staff Accountant will:

• Complete journal entries necessary for the monthly financial statements. Ensure all transactions are supported by appropriate documentation
• Prepare timely and accurate account reconciliations, ensuring alignment with US GAAP.
• Assist with financial analysis to support the monthly results
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control requirement
• Maintain, and identify opportunities to enhance, internal controls and recommend process improvements
• Assist with the provision of information to external auditors

A Successful Staff Accountant will have:

• B.S. in Accounting
• Minimum 1-2 years accounting experience, including monthly closing of the books
• Advanced Excel skills
• SAP experience preferred
• MS Office
• Strict adherence to deadlines
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Ability and motivation to work independently in a hybrid environment
