CLA is looking to hire Staff Accountants for our growing BizOps practice in Minneapolis, MN
As a Staff Accountant, you will:
- Support multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Complete month-end and other quarterly and annual processing.
- Day to Day Transactions: Coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
- Month End Processing: Completes basic financial statements. Coordinates and completes account reconciliations (i.e. bank & credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals.)
- Other Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms or items as requested by clients.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or an Associate's degree/Accounting Certificate in Accounting or related field plus 5 years of accounting experience may be considered as a Bachelor's degree equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience providing accounting and financial services is preferred, exceptions can occur based on work to be performed.
- Technical knowledge of QuickBooks and other applicable software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
