Senior Treasury Analyst

The Hartford's Enterprise Treasury Organization is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst on its Treasury Consulting team. This position will operate closely with our banking partners as well as our internal business customers to ensure we modernize and optimize banking services necessary to support the movement of funds for collection of insurance premiums, claims disbursements, and investments of The Hartford.

Responsibilities include:

• Bank Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong communication with banks to stay current with products and services
  • Solicit feedback from internal business partners regarding service levels being provided
  • Participate in negotiations related to banking contracts and service fees
  • Support bank administration activities

• Treasury Management Consulting
  • Consult with business units to incorporate sound treasury management practices
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve funds availability and corporate cash flows
  • Optimize/minimize bank fees and other related administrative expenses associated with supporting receipt and disbursement operations
  • Participate in bank selection projects
  • Act as implementation coordinator
  • Provide routine support and advice to the business units related to ongoing daily use of their bank services
  • Participate on projects of varying size

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
• Thorough knowledge of banking, cash management, and insurance products and terminology
• 5+ years' experience in Treasury and/or Banking relationship management
• Strong communications skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail oriented, working under tight deadlines with focus on accuracy

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$67,280 - $100,920
