What we do:

The Sr. Payroll Analyst will perform a variety of increasingly complex payroll analysis and system administration. To provide guidance and management of the overall payroll system ensuring that a continuous operational improvement focus is implemented. This position improves achievement by planning, organizing, reviewing, and evaluating the system entries of payroll and HR department staff. This position is relied upon to resolve technical and procedural problems encountered by payroll specialists and HR staff within the Payroll/HR system. Provide Analytical payroll and system reports and audits to various team members within the organization.

What you can do:

  • Conduct complex studies and analyses pertaining to the Payroll/HR/SAP system
  • Conduct routine audits of the payroll system including compliance with federal and state laws, as well as internal policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Coordinate system processes and scheduling criteria for payroll system enhancements and upgrades
  • Maintain payroll system validation tables to ensure accurate payroll data
  • Assisting in the testing and implementation of the Human Resources and SAP software
  • Working one-on-one with Sr. Manager ? to ensure Human Resources/Payroll system integrity
  • Maintain Payroll GL
  • Complete Payroll and Benefit Budget as needed working closely with the Sr. Manager of Payroll
  • Coordinating and reviewing data input by personnel into Payroll/HR/SAP system for accuracy and compliance to ensure employee receives accurate and timely earnings. As well as accurate reporting
  • Compiling and maintaining individual files and records on pertinent payroll data necessary to perform the financial and statistical reports related to assigned areas
  • Independently research, organize, and analyze technical information and prepare reports and recommendations for management as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

What you can contribute:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or a related field (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • 4+ years' experience managing HR related data and systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
  • Proficiency with Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MS Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS/ERP Systems
