WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Sr. Ops Financial Analyst performs the cost accounting function for the regional business by supporting the business with product costing, analysis of changes to manufacturing, cost savings analysis and freight analysis. This function assists operations in the annual physical inventory, cost rollup, and supports annual audit and tax functions as they relate to inventory. Additionally, you will:
- Month-End Close Responsibilities for Inventory and Freight related accounts including analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
- Performs Cost Center Variance Analysis (Budget vs. Actual) for Operations Departments and assist with hosting meetings with business leaders to review
- Partners with the Warehouse Team on the Cycle Count Program
- Partners with the Operations to assist with planning and executing the Annual Physical Inventory Count
- Performs Analysis related to Inventory, Freight, and COGS for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs)
- Produces ad hoc reporting as required
- Assist the Operations Finance Manager on the Annual Standard Cost Roll
- Assist the Operations Finance Manager in partnership with Operations Leadership in the Annual Budget Process
- Might assist with Excess & Obsolete Inventory Reserve Analysis
- Helps to manage CAPEX Approval Process with Business Partners
- Assist in tracking cost reduction activities for value improvement initiatives
WHAT WE SEEK
- 3+ years in a Manufacturing and/or Distribution Environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Experience working with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus
- Proficiency with Excel formulas, pivot tables and V look ups
- Ability to effectively respond to and interact with multiple levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations is essential.
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Expected salary range is $90,000 - $110,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
