We are expanding our Technical Accounting and Reporting team and looking to bring on a Senior Manager who will play a significant role in establishing a world-class, SOX compliant technical accounting and reporting foundation. This position will be tasked with taking on the accounting for complex/non routine areas as well as to play a substantial role in our external reporting process. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity, completeness and accuracy of results as reported. This position will also provide technical advisory support to the broader accounting and finance teams and work cross functionally as a valuable member contributing to the Company’s maturation process. This position reports to the Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting. 

What You’ll Do:

• Own the coordination, review and submission of our quarterly and annual financial statements
• Lead the consultation and evaluation of complex accounting transactions to ensure relevant accounting issues are identified, assessed and appropriately documented in high quality technical accounting memos
• Monitor new and emerging accounting pronouncements from the FASB, SEC and other regulatory bodies, assess the impact and lead the implementation efforts of such pronouncements
• Assist with any strategic investments including due diligence, purchase price accounting, equity accounting and integration and preparation of filings related to acquisitions, as applicable, including the preparation of pro forma financial information
• Prepare and review Company-wide accounting and finance policies, including the revision of existing policies and creation of new policies as new accounting standards are adopted
• Develop and refine internal control / SOX framework for areas owned by the technical accounting and reporting team
• Work closely with external auditors to address accounting for key technical areas
• Participate in special projects, analysis and reporting as required by management

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in high growth advertising technology/media industry; 7+ years of public accounting required and 2+ years of public company experience in a similar role preferred
• CPA required 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP & SEC reporting requirements, including but not limited to: business combinations, goodwill and intangibles, equity investments, foreign currency matters, consolidation
• Experience designing and implementing new accounting policies, procedures and controls
• Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Able to work under time pressure, prioritize a high workload, and meet strict deadlines
• Positive attitude and open mindset, not afraid to roll up your sleeves
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
• Team player, strong interpersonal skills including conscientiousness, diplomacy, flexibility, dependability, and, last but not least, a good sense of humor
