Job Description

Hologic is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst responsible for financial support to the Diagnostics commercial organization including assisting with the Annual budgeting process, performing regular financial forecasts, performing financial variance analysis of operating results, supporting the needs of non-financial personnel through financial analysis and reporting, and supporting the monthly financial close.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

• Support sales and marketing cost center owners in basic financial analysis
• Prepare internal management reports
• Assist in ad hoc revenue, financial and scenario analysis
• Support business partners in financial modeling analysis
• Performed basic forecasting and budgeting support
• Research basic finance and accounting issues
• Assist with annual budget, monthly re-forecast and monthly close process
• Extract and manipulate raw data for analysis or conclusions
• Participate in regular presentations to Diagnostics senior leadership

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree required

Experience

• 5+ years related experience preferred

Skills

• Strong analytical skills
• General understanding of Accounting and Finance Principles
• Intermediate experience with manipulating data using Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of ERP systems, preferably Oracle
• Experience using a financial planning systems (Ex. Hyperion), desired
• Qlik or Tableau experience a plus
