AMP Robotics is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst who will report to our Director of Finance and work closely with our VP of Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, and get exposure to executive management to focus on helping us create transparency in how our business is measured and improved upon.
As our Senior Financial Analyst, you will work to:
- Serve as the FP&A team’s sole corporate finance “consolidation” analyst for forecasts and annual budget, focusing on providing financial analysis and decision-making support to our business unit leaders, executive leadership, and Board of Directors
- Own execution of recurring financial forecast & reporting process, from particular point of view of fully consolidated (rollup of all business lines) perspective
- Own execution of recurring financial reporting packages, especially regarding variance explanations and KPIs; including monthly budget vs. actuals analysis, including communicating with budget owners, analyzing cost trends, and helping updating cost projections
- Provide FP&A support to our Accounting team to enable prompt close of monthly books and thorough variance explanations
- Analyze key business trends and report findings to management, with particular emphasis on identifying opportunities for improvements (cost efficiencies / expense reductions; various profitability analyses to generate actionable insights)
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly Board of Directors presentations
- Lead the consolidation and analysis of annual budget

The successful candidate will have:
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business administration; MBA preferred
- 5-7 years of related experience in FP&A (or similar analytical role)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including ability to own and execute complex analyses (e.g. scenario modeling) and explain them to senior leadership
- Excellent attention to detail
- Innate intellectual curiosity (you are comfortable asking questions and taking the initiative to dig into variances)
- Ability to work productively in a fast paced environment
- Critical thinking prowess, with a keen ability to draw insights from raw data and to synthesize it into actionable findings
- NetSuite or similar ERP experience (including with related FP&A software planning / forecasting tools) required

Salary & compensation information: $100,000 - $110,000 depending on experience
Benefits information:
- Medical - The company covers up 85% to 100% of the premium for Cigna healthcare plans depending on the selection. Employees pay the difference in premium if they select a more expensive plan. Up to 75% for dependents.
