Basic Function

As a Financial Analyst/ Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of Cash Fixed Costs at a global level and support the annual budget process. You will partner directly with cost center owners and play a crucial role in providing the right level of data and analysis to support management decision making by providing key information on historical/budget trends and related cost analysis at a detailed level. You will also assist with various aspects of the global budget process as needed and as schedule permits.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Reconcile actual to budgeted fixed cost variances.
  • Analyze organization costs and provide thorough analysis on findings on monthly reports.
  • Partner with cost center owners.
  • Coordinate, compile, and analyze Global annual budget.
  • Update monthly fixed cost forecast and provide variance commentary.
  • Prepare annual benchmark study and analysis for allocated corporate cost.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Department and Budget Coordinators to improve processes and reporting.
  • Support cost center master data cleanup and headcount reporting.
  • Set up and support expense projects and reporting for the functions.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis.
  • Take on ad hoc projects as assigned.
  • Provide system support and training and act as Fixed Cost Superuser for the team.
  • Provide as needed support to the overall annual budget process. This includes assisting with preparation of presentation material for both internal reviews and Board meetings, as well as development and maintenance of the budget task list and calendar, and TeamShare administration.


Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business Degree with 2-6 years of financial accounting or business-related experience.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Must be able to take action in solving problems and gain support from budget coordinators and management.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Analytical skills with a strong desire to research and understand underlying cost drivers.
  • Team player who can work in a collaborative environment and across borders, with the ability to handle multiple tasks/assignments at the same time and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate internally with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, time pressures and deadlines and to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid experience using SAP, experience in BW, OneStream, BPC is a plus.
  • CFA/CPA/MBA a plus, but not required.
