What does a Sr Financial Analyst do?

This position will lead the development of key financial and operational tools that will assist the Global Application Development Finance Team with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, planning, and reporting. This position will act as a Center of Excellence leader across the Global Application Development Finance team driving process improvement, efficiencies, and leading special projects.

As a Sr Financial Analyst , you will:• Lead the ways of working and streamlining of all internal financial processes and reporting to improve methodogy for financial techniques and financial reports• Drives the creation and cascading of calendar activities to achieve deliverables for monthly, quarterly, annual and multi-year strategic planning/forecasting cycles• Consolidates annual Operation Plans, Quarterly Financial Reviews, and other Executive presentations across the team• For consolidated reporting, ensure accuracy and transparency of reported and forecasted financial results, along with key business drivers.• Liaison with Portfolio Management and Global App Finance teams to create reporting to feed into financial planning and ensure smooth implementation of roll out of GCAT• Leads special and ad hoc projects as identified for finance and operations management that require strategic thinking and effective communication to non-financial teams.• Strong hands-on approach to learn business and current complex planning/forecasting models• Utilize systems and data to perform complex analyses to resolve difficult business and customer issues

Basic qualifications for consideration:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or bachelor's degree with equivalent with experience• Experience using Portfolio tools, preferably Clarity

Preferred Qualifications:• Must possess an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially PowerPoint and Excel• Strong organizational skills, in particular, an attention to detail and the ability to prepare a variety of financial reports in a timely and effective manner.• Ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports. Proficient at analyzing, interpreting, and succinctly synthesizing large amounts of financial data.• Intellectual curiosity with a strong base of problem-solving and technical skills required to complete assignments.• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with supervisors and personnel and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, business partners and company officials.• Deep understanding of Data and how to use to automate reporting and analysis• Experience driving process improvement

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado
