Job Description
The O&T FP&A Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for OCF finance processes as well as supporting the Global Security organization. The role will aide in tracking and consolidating approximately $1B of annual Gross OCF across a variety of business lines within the O&T portfolio. This role provides the unique opportunity to gain a solid understanding of NBCU operations through daily exposure/interaction with operational finance managers, technical support teams, and corporate finance. The role's responsibilities include:
Here's what you'll do in this role:

  • Support the Director of FP&A in all aspects of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing key metrics and trends, and summarizing for high level presentations
  • Support Global Security group in all financial aspects including but not limited to monthly / quarterly close activities, forecasting processes, and monthly operating reviews
  • Aide the HQ team in collaborating with operational finance leads to consolidate and analyze OCF and Headcount submissions
  • Track, reconcile, and report headcount
  • Implementation of process improvement initiatives for areas including headcount, productivity management, automation
  • Consolidate and analyze actual vs. estimate variance commentary on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Assist with ad hoc analyses/requests


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance with progression• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products - particularly advanced excel skills (comfortable with vlookups, if statements, pivot tables)• Knowledge of Essbase preferred

Desired Characteristics• Experience with SAP, BPC, Essbase, and BW preferred• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with minimal supervision• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to all levels of the organization• Exceptional attention to detail• Quick learner and team player
