Job Summary
Responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting and general support to Managers, Directors and the Senior Leadership team. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Tracks and analyzes key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements. Drives operational efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Ownership of a full Business P&L including Revenue, Operating Expenses and Capital for two emerging businesses (XUMO and XClass). This provides a broader view of a business vs. historical roles.
  • Cross partner relationships with Sky, Advertising, Peacock, Corporate, TPX and other functional teams across the Cable organization
  • Identify customer engagement trends on the platform and develop views of how these trends impact future Forecasts / Budget / Long Range Plans
  • Develop an understanding of platform economics across Flex, XClass and XUMO
  • Participates in the development and utilization of financial models and analysis. Prepares budgets and forecasts as directed by Manager.
  • Evaluates financial risks and opportunities by creating and reviewing operational and financial metrics.
  • Assists with the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Researches variance to budget and forecast through detailed operational and financial metrics and explains results.
  • Reviews journal entries during month and year-end processes.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Opportunity to impact a newly formed Joint Venture with Charter Communications
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education
Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
