As Senior Financial Analyst II, Supply Chain at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Supply Chain controller and be a strategic thought partner to leaders within Global Supply Chain to influence strategic decisions, optimize resource allocation, and drive efficient inventory management. You will work closely with the manufacturing and business unit finance teams to evaluate supply scenarios, balancing the need to ensure that critical investments are made in a timely fashion to support Micron's long-term revenue growth while meeting high ROI, capital efficiency, and cash flow requirements. As the Global Supply Chain organization is responsible for coordinating supply for >$25B in annual revenue, this is a critical position for an experienced financial business partner accustomed to working in a fast-paced multi-national environment where strategic influencing and outstanding business acumen are critical skills.
o Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
§ Drive for best-in-class supply planning process by understanding competitive benchmarks, establishing internal objectives, and driving accountability throughout the organization in close partnership with Supply Chain Leadership
§ Support optimization of capital allocation with the goal of maximizing return-on-investment (ROI) for the company
§ Develop and maintain both high-level and detailed models to perform financial assessment of supply scenarios and influence decision making through strategic story telling
§ Serve as finance subject matter expert for design for cost/value analysis and initiatives
§ In collaboration with Global Supply Chain, identify areas to optimize inventory levels through competitive comparisons, supplier/customer arrangements, industry analysis, postponement opportunities, etc.
§ Partner with finance and operations stakeholders to develop and implement new systems and processes to improve efficiency and meet changing business needs
§ Create and maintain dashboards to automate reporting that provides value to business partners and helps leaders prioritize initiatives
§ Collaborate with other teams inside and outside the global Finance organization to develop highly effective working relationships
o Minimum Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred
§ At least 5-7 years of work experience in Finance business partner capacity, or related fields in the manufacturing industry (electronics manufacturing, semiconductors or other high-tech industries preferred)
o Preferred Skills:
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid interpersonal relationships based on mutual trust and influence across functional boundaries
§ Ambitious and intellectually curious, with a high energy level, growth mindset and passion for identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
§ Strong analytical skills and business acumen, and can translate findings into insight and develop tangible action plans for implementation
§ Strong systems and data management skills, including tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI
§ Proven ability to perform in an environment characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA)
§ Excellent written and verbal English-language communication and presentation skills
