Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Global Functions - IT and Finance within the Corporate FP&A team, the Senior Financial Analyst, Global Functions' responsibility is to partner with the Information Technology (IT), Innovation & Development (I&D), and Digital (DGX) organizations to support their financial processes. The successful candidate will contribute to all FP&A related activities for those areas including month-end close, reporting and analysis, rolling forecast, Annual Operating Plan, and the multi-year strategic planning process. Additionally, financial modeling for new investments on an ad-hoc basis will be a key responsibility for this role.

Responsibilities
• Ensure the integrity of the month-end close process for IT, I&D, and DGX projects, manage expense accruals, confirm proper accounting treatment between capital and expense, and interact closely with the shared services centers and procurement to maintain accurate financials.• Maintain internal controls, GAAP compliant environment: address all audit requests timely and appropriately, perform reconciliations to test adherence, raise due diligence items, as required.• Prepare routine (e.g., functional reporting packages, EBITDA bridges) and ad-hoc reporting and analysis (e.g., business case financial modeling) to support Global Function Finance Managers.• Analyze variances vs. forecast, budget, and prior year. Highlight trends and identify corrective actions and/or opportunities for cost containment. Help drive accountability of the cost center managers trough frequent interaction and review of spend to date as well as forecast.• Provide financial and decision support to the IT, I&D, and DGX leadership teams and maintain excellent relationships with leadership team members to continuously improve support and service level.• Assist in preparing all Investment Committee (IC) review packages for projects requiring IC level approval - establish PAR financials, validate business case, and prepare executive summary.• Advise on software asset management and monitoring CIP• Support the monthly forecast, AOP, and STRAP processes for IT, I&D, and DGX. Coordinate and complete updates in financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, BIA).• Provide Wave (tracking tool for saving initiatives) support as needed for IT, I&D, and DGX business partners who act as initiative owners on cost management and productivity efforts.• Continuously identify and implement improvements across all financial processes, focusing on process automation and other repeatable, scalable efficiency efforts.• Develop and implement Power BI reports and other automated financial tools to provide IT, I&D, and DGX teams with additional insights that better inform decision making.• Actively problem solve to develop analytical approaches to answer queries in a timely manner.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus• 3+ years of work experience, preferably in a multi-national, corporate finance setting• Experienced user of SAP, BIA / B4P / HANA, and Hyperion• Strong modelling skills using Excel, VBA, or Power Query• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
