About the Sr. Finance Manager Role:

This role is a mid-senior role to support Commercial Finance for PPE Americas. This role will need dedicated focus on growing PPE Americas topline and orders growth, while also ensuring a healthy backlog. This role is multi-faceted, since it not only partners with the regional VP of Sales, but also the supply chain team, C2C team, order management, channel marketing, and commercial excellence teams, to ensure the commercial success of the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Drive Analytics to:

o Discover opportunities to recover leaking revenue and margins

o Spotlight areas of declining / flat growth orders, and understand drivers of stagnancy / decline

o Understand the ROI from our rebate / MDF programs, and to show areas where the customer partnerships are working vs not working, with reasons (supply chain vs regional policies, competitor products, NPI rollout delays, etc.)

o Understand intimately, the billing components and strip out SKU billing, minimum order charges, freight surcharges, and other components, to maximize each component of billings.

o Matrix our customers into various matrices based on different metrics - e.g. growth vs size, discount vs growth, breadth of purchases vs relationship size, promo spend vs revenue etc.

o Understand pricing volume mix driving revenue and orders growth vs various scenarios

Ø Work with Supply Chain, C2C, Order Management and other functions to understand obstacles for maximizing revenue and work to resolve them:

o Review with supply chain team the reasons for various supply issues, and quantify the impact it has on revenue

o Review reasons for customers on credit holds, and work with C2C to unblock the customers from credit holds

Ø AOP and Forecast Process:

o Support the process of rollups of forecasts and AOP during the respective cycles

o Support forecasts using drivers, trends, data, and does NOT act as only a consolidation point

o Drives the challenge and validation process with regional sales leader and LOB GMs within PPE

o Updates various walks - vs last forecast, vs PY, vs AOP, vs prior month, vs prior quarter, etc.

Ø Drive Day-To-Day Finance Support:

o Complete ownership of updating relevant files and review shipments, backlog, orders, new order book and turn assumptions data in preparation of the weekly revenue MOS calls to ensure no double counting, and accurate rollups. Also work with regional finance director to review the rollup and update risks and opportunities.

o Own Rebates and Coop accrual process and ensure all credit memos are properly accounted for. Work with Controllership to prepare quality account reconciliations of the rebate accounts. Work with Channel Marketing and Sales team to learn and understand deeply how the go-to-market works for PPE US&C.

Ø Team Management:

o Indirect management of a lean team based out of multiple locations across the world (India, Mexico) to ensure deliverables and analytics are efficiently allocated to ensure timely and accurate delivery to the business leadership

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 8+ years Finance Experience.
  • Prior experience in SAP and Business Objects (BO) / Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
