We are currently hiring a skilled Senior Finance Manager with strong Controllership and Financial Analysis expertise to own and drive FinOps' finance rhythm , investment planning, and key performance metrics and analytics of our operational expenses. This position is visible across the organization and partners closely with a global leadership team.
A successful candidate brings an analytical mindset and is adept at getting things done with the ability to dive into the details when necessary but also elevate to executive-level altitude. The ideal candidate exhibits curiosity, is a fast learner, and has a passion for understanding business models and drivers to influence stakeholders at varying levels across Microsoft on a regular basis .Responsibilities
  • Leads and owns finance rhythm including budget, forecasts, and month-end reporting. Drives business health and alignment across the organization's leadership team.
  • Manage global purchasing activities for a portfolio of outsourcing agreements working with key suppliers, keeping controls and compliance top of mind.
  • Deliver actionable insights, contribute to target setting, and drive business accountability performing multi-period financial modeling and analysis.
  • Integrates varied data sources and assimilates the information into a comprehensive, clear narrative. Communicates results in a compelling and understandable message. Able to communicate complex financial models in a simple way.
Qualifications Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field AND 6+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field AND 4+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience exercising mature judgment and best practices
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment. Detail oriented & thorough, with ability to think "big picture".
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration, communication, and partnership competencies. Ability to mobilize a diverse team to a common goal
  • Highly effective individual who can work independently with excellent organization skills - ability to manage multiple, competing projects/priorities
  • Experience working with outsource providers.
