Summary
Oversee the financial planning and consultation teams and related operational teams who are responsible for implementing the adoption and servicing of the new planning experience with existing advisors and new recruits who join Northwestern Mutual. This leader will thoughtfully strategize with PX Leaders to build and implement advocacy programs and services that align with short and long term KPIs for PX adoption. This will include building the supporting operations that drive the Activation organization's daily work and support model for advisors. Further, this leader will be in a field facing role, representing PX at nationwide conferences and field events, and will be called upon to present regularly within the home office to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create strategy and drive the achievement of KPIs for the adoption and servicing of the new planning experience.
  • Work with head of Planning Integration to strategize, design and deliver upon operational targets through home office programs and services.
  • Managing budget to align with company and departmental desired outcomes.
  • Be an advocate and drive the value that NM products and services can provide to clients around financial security when paired with a financial plan.
  • Design and manage the operations for Planning and Consultation included but not limited to structuring call queues and departmental SLA's, training of employees, systems, quality assurance and designing the capacity support model to adequately offer appropriate coverage both in person and remotely.
  • Build and implement a hiring and training model for the growth of the organization as it may need to scale relative to advisor adoption and utilization of the services.
  • Leverage data about the team's performance and look for ways to gain efficiency and enhance impact and outcomes.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight through structured, periodic, objective supervision of the team Maintain a highly visible in-office presence in the Milwaukee and Arizona campuses, acting as a bridge between the nationwide work and the home base of associates.
  • Collaborate with partner teams in MKE including Performance Team, Financial Planning Services, Financial Planning Sales Support, Change Management, etc
  • Partner with the Performance Team, the Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) and Technology Productivity Consultants (TPCs) to maximize the collaboration of resources in a given office as it relates to adoption targets and servicing of PPA and PX.
  • Conceptualize and work to implement experiential programs/trials including Betas or pilots for new markets of clients and advisors.
  • Ensure regular in person time within all campuses to ensure continued success and alignment with stakeholders and organizational KPI's


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, marketing or related experience required.
  • People leadership experience
  • Ability to Travel up to 30% of the time
  • Knowledge of NM platforms and products (or willingness to learn).
