Responsibilities

Principal Real Estate Investors has an exciting opportunity in a new position on their cash management team. As a member of the team, you would be involved in a variety of different activities related to cash management and bank account administration functions. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team. A combination of attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills are critical for this role.

In this role you would participate in the following activities:

  • Establish and administer bank accounts for real estate properties and owner entities
  • Communicate and collaborate with other internal real estate teams, including: accounting, acquisition and disposition, corporate treasury and legal
  • Monitor, review and analyze daily cash transactions
  • Process information and prepare required regulatory documents
  • Communicate and collaborate with our banking partners
  • Maintain knowledge of Yardi general ledger and administrative system as it relates to the cash management function
  • Participate in cash management projects, migrating to electronic payments



Qualifications

Job level

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • CPA or other applicable certifications are a plus
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, but ability to step back and see the big picture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Good interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Strong problem solving, leadership and analytical skills
  • Ability to accept and adapt to a changing environment
  • Intermediate PC and/or system skills (ex., Excel, Word, Power Automate, general ledger)



Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range

$55100 - $90300 / year

Work Environment

This role offers the ability for in-office and hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements. You'll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
