Who you are:

As a Sr. Accounting Analyst reporting to the CFO, you will help support the team by participating in finance and accounting activities such as month-end close, financial analysis on selected projects and customers contracts, and the budgeting process throughout the year.

What you will do:

• Create month-end reconciliation reports that support accounting accruals and related month-end journal entries
• Perform financial analysis to support company plans
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements to the parent corporation
• Conduct analysis on annual planned budgets matched to actual performance
• Perform billing/invoicing functions following contractual obligations
• Monitor progress of project teams toward completion of contractual obligations
• Monitor accounts receivable and accrued revenue aging reports and bring attention to any issues
• Assist in gathering and organizing audit requests documents for financial and compliance audits

What you bring to the position:

• BBA in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years experience in an accounting or finance position
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures, including reporting, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
• Proficient/advanced with Excel
• Knowledge of internal controls compliance documentation
• Familiar with accounting software packages, such as SAP
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment, in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures
• Strong communication skills with ability to express opinions clearly in a straightforward manner
