Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounting Internal Controls team in Wichita, KS. Successful candidates for this position must have strong attention to detail with an ability to connect to Koch's risk philosophy. This role will facilitate with cross functional business groups for internal controls audit tasks, serve as point-person for P-Card inquires, and assist in ad-hoc audits/reports. Candidates must possess an entrepreneurial mindset and passion to challenge the status quo.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Internal Control audits and Financial Control Risk assessments
• Assisting business owners with managing Financial and Government Interaction authorities
• P-Card Audit & Reporting
• Point person for the business for all travel and expense related inquiries
• Periodic audits such as Robotic Process Automated shared drive access, training assessments, and yearly review of the Master Data & Credit vetting processes
• State Owned Entity & Broker Commission audits in conjunction with the compliance group
• Ad-hoc audits/requests.

The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field
• Experience in an accounting/finance, audit, or compliance position
• Proficient in MS Office Software
