As a Software Engineering Manager within PNC's ACFR organization. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.
This position requires a highly motivated and collaborative person with exceptional communication skills, proven experience working with diverse teams of technical architects, business users and IT areas on all phases of the software development life-cycle.
• 7 years of progressively responsible experience or Masters with 4 years of experience in building and implementing model- guided, enterprise-level business solutions
• Pega PRPC experience highly desirable
• Pega CSSA/LSA certification is plus
• Experience designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management)
• Experience in various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors and SOAP Services etc
• Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rulesets design
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including review alert logs, running pre-flight and PAL.
• Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding
• Experience in software development phases including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applications
• Experience in a variety of technologies including, but not limited to, Pega, Oracle or any programming background like Java

- Manages development projects, development teams and application support functions.
- Oversees multiple application programming and analysis projects which include development, installation and maintenance of application programs.
- Monitors and maintains adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
- Maximizes staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
- Analyzes applications to ensure that all systems that are developed, meet business needs and specifications.

Competencies
Application Delivery Process – Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies; ability to utilize these in order to deliver new or enhanced applications.
Application Development Tools – Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and toolkits for the development and support of applications.
IT Environment – Knowledge of an organization's IT purposes, activities and standards; ability to create an effective IT environment for business operations.
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
