Job Description:

As a member of the Commercial FP&A team, the position will provide value added financial support for both day-to-day operations for the Global Service Organization and play a pivotal role in developing analytical tools to help facilitate decision making. You will be supporting and driving action plans to improve processes, automate/streamline functional reporting (using tools such as Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Planning) for Service P&L. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Finance Manager with support of Service organization, help create presentations and analytics to provide financial insight, guidance, and analysis.
  • Track KPI's for Service-related metrics
  • This is a "hands-on" position including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecast and budgeting ctivities
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly revenue analysis, and Opex analysis to support forecast packages
  • Ability to create and develop ad-hoc financial modeling & analysis on Excel and/or HFM creating meaningful analytics, business insight & transparency.
  • Ability to identify variations and trends, ability to dig-in to details and summarize business outcomes.
  • Highly responsive with sense of urgency to provide high quality, accurate deliverables under tight time pressure.
  • Possess the courage to highlight adverse financial results and trends and offer proposed solutions to resolve
  • Accounting knowledge including full financial statement understanding and analysis skills
  • Provide analytic support and change management to accurately report key drivers including expense, headcount, margin, revenue, backlog and customer win/loss
  • Assist with system and process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our reporting and analysis.
  • Adhere to a regular cadence with Finance Manager to review monthly actuals, analyzing forecast variance, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to drive forecast execution and accuracy.


Qualifications
• BS in Finance or Accounting required, Advanced degree or certification preferred
• Knowledge of financial and accounting theory (consolidations, Interco etc.)
• Knowledge of financial and statistical modeling techniques
• Fluent in advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables and function formulas
• Experienced with Oracle and strong Hyperion, Essbase preferred but not required
• Experienced in PowerBI preferred but not required
• Strong trouble shooter
• Planning, organization and project management skills.
• Strong communication
• 4+ years of business finance experience
