CLA, one of the nation's largest public accounting and professional services firm is currently seeking a Senior Technology Financial Analyst to join our growing team.

As a Senior Technology Financial Analyst you will provide financial reporting/analysis, budgeting, and AP oversight for the Information Technology group along with active participation in process improvements. The Senior Technical Financial Analyst works closely with the Manager, Contracts & Budget Services on process improvements and financial optimization.

Essential Job Functions:

Financial Analysis: Creates, maintains, and improves analytics on technology department financial data.

Accounts Payable: Reviews and approves all IT invoices/audits accounts payable costs being allocated to or from IT before and after payment.

Budget: Assists with budget planning and reporting; prepares budget data and analysis for strategic planning

Microsoft Licensing: Reviews and audits Microsoft Licensing for CLA and prepares recommendations to technology leaders for renewals and any other updates needed.

Fixed Assets: Reviews fixed asset activity and prepares recommendations to technology and financial leaders.

Technology: Creates and maintains up to date process/technical documentation for new/existing processes covering financial responsibilities within IT.

Participates in service process improvement activities; vendor licensing, contracts and associated cost allocation as needed for service support. Participates as a resource in projects as needed.

Communicates effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with cross-functional teams, EBS and business teams internally as well as with vendors externally.

Experience

Four years of Financial Experience working with technology and financial reporting systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting or a closely related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Certifications / Licenses

Accounting or technology certifications are preferred.

Technical Competencies

Experience with budgeting, planning, reporting, reviewing, and auditing financial data from ERP systems, general ledger and other financial/service systems.

Comfortable in a technical environment with a large variety of technology tools and can easily adapt to rapidly changing technology.

Excel proficiency required. Familiarity with other reporting, licensing and analytics tools required.

Organizational Interfaces

The Senior Technology Financial Analyst reports directly to the Manager Contracts & Budget Services. S/he will interact on a regular basis with other team members in both IT and Finance, business users, principals, and vendors.

Travel Requirements

This position requires frequent local travel to/from client sites and may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings and/or other business-related purposes.
