Senior Staff Accountant
(Must live in Minnesota)

We are based in Burnsville, Minnesota and Richmond, Virginia with over 16 years of success in direct marketing and designing luxury jewelry and fine watches from around the world.
We are seeking a detail oriented, dynamic individual to join our accounting department as a Sr. Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting goals, growing a company through accurate and timely reporting. Attention to detail along with extensive Excel experience is a must.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participation in the monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
- Prepare journal entries and maintain proper supporting documentations
- Account reconciliation
- Internal Reporting and Audits
- Assist in preparing internal financial reporting package
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Assist in the preparation of state sales tax filing
- Calculate bi-weekly sales commissions
- All other duties or projects as assigned
EDUCATION:
- Accounting degree
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior Experience as a Sr. Accountant with 2-3 years of experience mainly focused on general accounting.
SKILLS:
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical abilities; ability to summarize data and analyze results
- Team player with proven organizational skills; ability to handle several projects concurrently
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
