Okta is looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Specialist to help us build and scale our Revenue Operations Support team. The Revenue Operations Support team is responsible for pre-sales support including non-standard opportunity/quote reviews, bookings and provisioning to ensure all orders meet company booking policies and revenue guidelines. The ideal candidate will be a key member within a diverse and inclusive Revenue Operations department who carries a passion to drive operational efficiencies and is constantly looking for ways to improve and accelerate the quote-to-cash cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class sales support and guidance to direct sales and channel partners on non- standard opportunities / quotes
  • Serve as Revenue Operations subject matter expert to various business partners in Finance, Sales, Professional Services, Deals Desk, Sales Operations, and Business Systems
  • Review order forms, master agreements and/or SOW’s for accuracy and completeness in accordance with company and revenue policies
  • Manage and prepare monthly reconciliation reports of sales orders
  • Lead projects on process improvements and system optimization
  • Respond to daily inquiries related to bookings, invoicing or provisioning issues
  • Be hands on with operational activities that achieve tactical and strategic objectives

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting, or related field
  • Experience in business or sales operations, preferably with a high-growth SaaS company or software industry
  • Understanding of the sales cycle and basic knowledge of software revenue recognition principles including ASC 606 is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce, CPQ, and Netsuite or other ERP system
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) preferred
  • Ability to work independently and move fast, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic and fast changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating successfully with diverse cross- functional teams
  • Team player attitude to assist with quarter end close activities when it’s “all hands on deck”
