Finance Division – Any Location – Full Time


The Sr. Revenue Forecast Analyst will be accountable for analyzing and overseeing business planning activities driven by or related to revenue. Duties will range from creating and maintaining forecast models to collaborating with stakeholders on the finance team and partner teams in order to improve processes and procedures that enhance the company’s ability to accurately forecast revenue. The ideal candidate is an expert with Excel or Google Sheets, a self-starter with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), has strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of data structure (SQL a bonus), and is capable of understanding the big picture. This role will report into the Director of Finance.


Essential Functions:

  • Maintain Tinuiti's revenue forecast model
  • Create and maintain dashboards that provide insights to stakeholders
  • Assist with the development of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
  • Analyze data, make recommendations and comments, and present forecasts to leadership for business planning
  • Analyze and investigate actual performance vs. target and/or current forecast as needed to support month end close
  • Assist with the preparation of executive presentation content
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
  • Proactively explore and implement ways to improve the accuracy and efficiency of existing processes


Core Competencies:

  • Financial Acumen: FP&A experience within established businesses; understands all components of a profit & loss statement (revenues, costs, and expenses) and can calculate gross margin & EBITDA
  • Business/Financial Modeling: Understands the big picture and sources information from multiple sources; applies spreadsheet best practices to create easy-to-follow information in the most efficient way possible using formulas of varying complexity; applies a consistent approach when building complex models to provide stakeholders with a clean and consistent format
  • Data Analysis: Understands basic data structure and combines data from different sources to form conclusions through utilization of SQL, Tableau, and/or other tools
  • Collaboration & Communication: Exhibits effective cross-functional communication through delivery of simplified data breakdown for stakeholders; establishes rapport and expectations across all levels of the Finance team to streamline communication and meet deadlines; deals comfortably with senior leadership; understands and speaks the language of upper management
  • Presenting Data in a Meaningful Way: Creates & presents attractive, easy-to-understand content (e.g. presentations, spreadsheets, Tableau) to groups of all sizes and people at all levels of the organization to guide strategic decisions
  • Time Management: Manages multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines and work efficiently; effectively communicates status updates to team members and managers to manage expectations
  • Action Oriented: Enjoys working hard, full of energy for new challenges, seizes opportunity


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance
  • 3+ years building financial or operational forecast models
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Slides, Docs)
