This position will be a key member of the revenue accounting team. The role responsibilities will include the preparation and review of revenue-related activities, settlements clearing, deferred revenue reporting, variance analysis, projects, and support to auditors. As needed, this position will also provide support to Accounts Receivable activities such as invoicing and preparation of aging reports.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and related variance analysis related to transactions on multiple revenue streams.
• Develop an understanding of revenue transactional flow through various systems to monitor and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Periodic settlements clearing reconciliation, allocations and posting of revenue related transactions.
• Execute day to day tasks that support analytics, projects, and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner closely with sales teams to understand and analyze deal structures for tracking of transactions and events each period in accordance with ASC 606.
• Monthly preparation of unbilled receivables and deferred revenue reporting.
• Assists with audits for revenue-related matters and support Internal and External Auditor requests.
• Help supervise and support invoice maintenance and collection processes

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in revenue accounting related role (mix of public & private accounting experience preferred but not required )
• Experience with order to cash cycles
• Advanced excel skills (index, pivot tables, lookups)
