As a Sr. Revenue Accountant for the organization, you will lead Revenue Recognition and Revenue Operations for all contracts for the organization. You will prepare contract reviews, analysis, documentation, journal entries and reconciliations for all revenue balances. You will support Revenue Operations for International expansion.
What you'll do:
- Perform monthly/quarterly worldwide revenue accounting close activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements within the quote-to-cash cycle
- Assist with the preparation of accounting memos and related analyses to document the company’s position on technical accounting matters in accordance with ASC 606
- Manage the process of assessing the stand alone selling price of products and services
- Participate in the design and implementation of automated solutions to further scale and streamline our revenue recognition process
- Work closely with management and external auditors to ensure the company is compliant with revenue recognition principles under ASC 606
- Assist in the processing and calculation of non-standard customer contracts
- Partner and collaborate with other business teams and help fulfill revenue-related inquiries and requests
- Identify opportunities to improve the internal control environment related to revenue.
- Ensure that deadlines are met with all applicable accounts
- Working closely with the management and accounting teams to support accurate reporting for the company.
- Supporting the Year End and interim audit processes as required.
- Staying informed of changes in financial regulations and legislation as applicable to the team.

Required Qualificiations:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in revenue recognition requirements of ASC 606
- CPA or tracking
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Intellectual curiosity
- Good communicator with strong interpersonal skill and emotional intelligence
- Able to work autonomously and flexibly
- Positive enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent excel skills and all-round IT skills
- Able to demonstrate achieving success in a deadline driven environment and commitment to continuous improvement.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Costpoint a plus
- Experience with international expansions a plus
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Public company experience preferred
- Experience with government regulations preferred
