Description:

The Senior Pricing Manager provides project management guidance and administrative direction to team members working on a pricing projects for proposals. Supervises Pricing Team members. Actively involved in certain critical "strategic" proposal efforts. Supports corporate initiatives as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES (include but not limited to):

• Interfaces with the Product Team(s) to obtain proposal inputs and to address technical/engineering inquiries.
• Interfaces with the Product Line Management regarding new proposal/business opportunities as well as current program viability.
• Conduct analysis and modeling based on key pricing inputs to develop optimal pricing recommendations.
• Identify and highlight key strategic considerations, develop credible business cases, and communicating rationale to senior management.
• Prepare cost support packages complying with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
• Ensures proposed schedules are achievable and facility capacity will be available at time of anticipated order placement.
• Responsible for the proposal schedule, cost to prepare proposal and budget.
• Manage and supervise pricing analysts to support activities inclusive of new price generation and discrepancy resolution etc.
• Identify, develop and implement process improvements, evaluate resource requirements and ensure pricing system meets organizational requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant field; MBA strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of business experience with experience in quantitative and financial analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with proposal management software.
• Knowledge of FAR15/CAS and Truth in Negotiations Act
• Experience in Manufacturing Environment (Defense) preferred.
• Ability to interact with senior management; strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to work cooperatively and forge relationships across multiple business functions.
• Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrated project management skills
