Job Description Summary
The Senior Pricing Leader will work cross-functionally with key business stakeholders to develop and implement global pricing strategies to support the long-term agreements business. This business is split between Contractual Services and Multi-Year Maintenance Program (MMP). The successful candidate will develop & implement the price strategy, tactics, and tools to improve the organization capabilities and will partner with offering management, region management, and sales to maximize profitability.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with MMP & CSA GMs to develop the price strategy and policy on current contract portfolio. Gain agreement of the differentiated price actions, timelines and effectively execute.
  • Actively engage with Business Line and Region leadership to create dynamic pricing strategy for Next Generation Service contracts.
  • Own the development of the annual price plan. Define portfolio level price actions based on customer and offering segmentation to support meeting annual targets. Track progress and effectiveness of the actions.
  • Develop and track key pricing KPIs. Report out monthly price realization and implement action plans to improve price realization if not on track.
  • Partner with Finance, Order Management, and other business stakeholders to ensure proper execution of current contracts. Evaluate and implement process & system controls to ensure price escalation is being driven.
  • Establish a robust win-loss postmortem & competitive intel process with the regions. Create repository and drive insights and corrective actions to the price strategy
  • Partner with the Pricing Systems lead for long term agreements to define the vision for deal pricing tools and analytics capabilities to support regional teams in pricing deals consistently.
  • Ensure a robust price approval process (DOA) is in place for CSA and MMP business lines. Partner with the Pricing Systems lead & Gas Power Services Pricing Operation Leader to implement process and system changes.
  • Partner with region pricing & commercial operations teams to drive consistent pricing on deals.
  • Coordinate implementation of guidelines within the quoting process and tools. Gain feedback from regional pricing & commercial teams and pivot strategy, if necessary.
  • Be the pricing thought leader for the business. Develop a change management programs to move to influence and drive adoption of value-based services pricing. Lead training to improve adoption of price intelligence tools.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of Pricing, Marketing, or Offering management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college



DESIRED

  • Professional Pricing Society - CPP certification
  • Projects and Aftermarket Services and long-term service contracts agreement experience
  • Master's degree in Finance, Marketing or MBA
  • Proven data analysis experience and solid grasp of pricing models & techniques. Experience utilizing Tableau or MSFT Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills by leading direct or cross-functional global teams through complex projects.
  • Self-starter and able to work with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills
