ClickUp is looking for a Sr Payroll Analyst to help us build and scale our payroll function. Reporting to the Sr Payroll Manager, this newly created role will have responsibilities that span across our global payroll function. ClickUp is looking for a payroll professional that is interested in building the entire global HR/Payroll infrastructure to meet the demands of the incredible scale the Company is projecting.

The Role:

  • Process full-cycle US multi-state domestic payroll on a bi-weekly and semi-monthly basis for exempt/non-exempt employees
  • Assist with processing international payrolls
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll related transactions are processed timely and accurately
  • Manage the timecard submission and approval process for non-exempt employees and provide support to management regarding timecard questions or issues
  • Prepares and audits all payroll data for periodic processing to include; new hires, salary changes, transfers, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related items received from HR
  • Reconcile and process monthly Commuter and benefits transactions
  • Reconcile and process 401k contribution changes, enrollments and remittance funding on a periodic basis
  • Review, reconcile and process periodic employee expense reimbursement reports
  • Initiate off-cycle payments for terminations timely by preparing and administering checks within federal/state regulatory timeframes
  • Partner with Stock Plan Administrator to prepare and process stock exercise payroll runs. Participate in preparing payroll-related GL reports for month-end close
  • Participate with internal/external payroll related audits and requests
  • Assist with maintaining the Payroll inbox by answering payroll inquiries from employees, business partners, and management
  • Provides support to Human Resources team to help resolve payroll-related matters
  • Perform any other relevant work or duties as requested or assigned by the Head of Payroll

Qualifications:

  • 3-5  years of experience with processing US multi-state payroll and international payrolls through consolidators
  • CPP (or working toward designation preferred)
  • Familiarity with stock payroll processing
  • Experience with business expense reimbursements processing
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results under strict deadlines
  • Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study
  • Experience with Workday or other integrated HR/payroll systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheets
  • Experience with high-growth companies preferred
  • Workday payroll experience (required)
