Spotify is seeking a dedicated and career driven Senior Manager to oversee Global Procure to Pay (P2P) Operations. This role is responsible for the execution, and management of Spotify’s existing Procure to Pay systems and global processes, while also driving transformation to keep up with Spotify’s continued growth in scale and complexity. 

This individual will ensure process perfection and continuous improvement across Accounts Payable and Employee Expense functions, define and enforce AP and expense policies, and work with our Financial Engineering group to improve integrations of AP related systems with other Spotify systems and tools. Success will require close partnership with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Global Sourcing, and IT while being a key face of Accounting to other Spotifiers. The position is based in NYC.

What you´ll do

• Global ownership of the P2P process including Vendor Master Data, PO Issuance, etc.
• Deliver effective KPIs and efficient tracking systems (e.g. spend analysis; Compliance) required to monitor performance in the procurement operations and invoice to pay organization
• Ensures SOX compliance of the P2P function
• Coordinate and develop QA functional testing for all procurement department software applications.
• Drive process transformation across the P2P function through cross functional partnerships
• Partner with different regions and Spotify’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner to deliver global standard processes and systems.
• Successfully build balanced relationships across the business and accounting/finance department to drive proactive procurement involvement
• Be responsible for the development and execution of automation systems supporting standardized processes.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
• Successful 10+ year track record in leading global procurement
• Experience implementing P2P systems (e.g. Coupa, NetSuite) and/or transformation of P2P systems
• SOX experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating in a BPO model
• Ability to “sell” sourcing and procurement value to internal partners
• Great teammate that collaborates with functional partners like IT, HR, finance, legal, marketing, etc.
• Ability to work optimally across global regions
• Strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to transform goals into actionable plans
