ACCOUNTABILITIES
DEVELOP HIGH PERFORMING ASSOCIATES AND TEAMS

  • Capitalizes on on-the-job opportunities to coach associates to use their strengths to perform at their best, identifying opportunities for growth in everyday work
  • Encourages and recognizes associates' commitment to self-development
  • Takes an active interest in building authentic relationships to engage associates

  • Takes an active role in the development of associates and teams across the Finance organization (mentorships, Team Own It involvement, etc.)


MAINTAIN EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL BUSINESS PARTNERS

  • Ensures integrity and clarity of information used for business planning and decision making
  • Influences business partners with well-researched recommendations and solutions, acting as a trusted partner while also advocating for financial success
  • Provides sought-after advice on both financial and operational matters


IMPROVE PROCESSES FOR OPTIMAL EFFICIENCY AND INTEGRITY

  • Encourages and supports innovation and process improvement among associates
  • Organizes resources to optimize process efficiency and integrity
  • Develops or re-designs processes to systematically minimize error, increase productivity and reduce expense
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and directs teams to implement solutions
  • Assures quality and precision in research and analysis


MANAGE THE FINANCIAL ACTIVITIES OF THE AREA

  • Oversees budgeting, forecasting, expense management, reporting and compliance for designated department with little oversight or supervision
  • Coordinates annual capital planning process and related ROI analysis
  • Identifies ways to reduce SG&A and capital spend
  • Builds financial rigor within designated area
  • Reviews pending contracts and leases to ascertain proper accounting treatment
  • Remains agile in thought and process to maximize opportunities and minimize risk
  • Participates in enterprise-wide initiatives with high visibility to leadership


QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED

  • Financial ratios/analysis experience
  • Accounting rules/regulations knowledge
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex models in a simplistic method
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization, including Management Board and senior level executives
  • 1-3 years of management experience
  • Strong analytical and organization skills


PREFERRED

  • 7+ years financial planning/reporting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, MBA


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced expertise in applicable area of business focus or specialization
