Tetra Defense, an Arctic Wolf Company, is actively seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FP&A) to establish and support our growing FP&A team.  The Sr. FP&A Analyst will analyze revenue, gross margin, expenses, cash, and other operational metrics. This team member will work directly under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Finance and will proactively partner with internal teams and budget owners to support informed decision-making.

About You:

As a Sr. FP&A Analyst, you have professional experience in providing gross margin analysis, tracking, and forecasting on a weekly basis, and preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting. You demonstrate subject matter expertise within FP&A and strong business acumen. You are good at building relationships and collaborating with various departments to provide financial assistance. You are a self-starter who can anticipate questions and future challenges and are eager to suggest data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage financial planning and business intelligence software to prepare and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (Adaptive Insights, Tableau, NetSuite)
• Conduct variance analysis by evaluating, and analyzing actual versus budgeted and forecast variance on a regular and consistent basis
• Own the inter-company reporting of Tetra’s performance to the parent company FP&A team
• Analyze financial data and operational metrics to provide financial models, forecasting, projections, and reports to Tetra Management, Operational Teams, and other internal stakeholders
• Establish, enhance, and deliver Tetra Defense’s Monthly management performance reporting
• Identify trends in financial performance and provide well thought out recommendations for improvement
• Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and trends
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as needed
• Assist and take charge of various special projects and see them to completion
  

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Professional experience in an FP&A role in a corporate environment, financial advisory, consulting, or other related industry
  • Experience using any accounting or financial planning software systems such as Adaptive Insights or comparable
  • Experience with creating and reporting on dashboards using Tableau or other business intelligence software
  • Advanced skill level within the Microsoft Office suite and ability to create complex queries and formulas within Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and detail orientation in working with large data sets from multiple systems to conduct accurate financial analysis
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) accounting rules, regulations, policies, and internal controls
  • Experience in working cross-functionally to achieve common goals and support leaders to make well informed financial decisions
  • Professional experience in conducting variance analysis to measure and report company financial performance
  • Experience in managing competing priorities and exhibits flexibility within fast paced environments
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage expectations
  • Demonstrates confidentiality surrounding financial and personnel data
• Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or MBA (Master of Business Administration)
  • Industry exposure or experience within cyber, insurance, or adjacent types of services
  • Experience in high-growth cybersecurity, technology, or SaaS company
