Lyft is hiring a Financial Data Analyst for its Finance & Accounting team. This is a crucial role in helping to build and support a financial infrastructure for one of the fastest growing companies. The candidate in this position will work closely with Product, Engineering, Finance and Operations teams to provide visibility of key financial metrics and reports of business initiatives at Lyft.

Responsibilities:

  • Own weekly reporting of key metrics used by decision makers and executives
  • Work with Product and Engineering to build the pipeline of data from generation to reporting for Lyft financial statements
  • Ensure financial dashboards are updated in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner
  • Provide general financial/data support to other key stakeholders within the finance team

Experience:

  • BA/BS with 4+ years of experience in finance, economics, accounting, business, consulting, or analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL with 3+ years of experience working with large data sets
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint for 2+ years in a professional setting
  • Tableau, Alteryx and other data visualization/BI experience a big plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across various departments
  • A drive to understand the core issues and determination to uncover the solution
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely detail oriented and highly organized
