Senior Financial Analyst
CHSPSC, LLC seeks a SeniorFinancial Analyst for its Franklin, TN, headquarters.
The SR. Financial Analyst will serve as an integral part of the Treasury team to support the Treasury, Accounting, and Executives. This position will primarily be working in a financial analysis role, assisting the Treasury Director with maintaining capital database reports in order to track routine capital and major project capital expenditures, measure growth projects performance after completion to pro forma estimates, along with other ad-hoc analyses as requested.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong skills in financial analysis, data querying, report presentation and organizational skills, general ledger accounting and problem solving. Candidate should also demonstrate keen attention to detail. The Sr. Financial Analyst will work with personnel from various corporate entities, hospitals, and shared service centers to obtain information and present actionable analyses. Much of the analysis will be new and will require the position to think critically through problems and use resources to obtain the information.
General Responsibilities:
- Analyze and record approved capital expenditures by CER in a capital database and reconcile to general ledger and consolidated financial statements.
- Maintaining detailed capital spending reports in order to track routine and major project capital expenditures.
- Performing strategic analyses over the implementation of new technologies compared to the costs of maintaining current technologies.
- Assist in evaluation of potential capital projects developing presentations to help management understand their impacts on the financial statements.
- Assist in special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required to support Treasury Director and Treasurer.
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis is required.
- Basic understanding of GAAP accounting and reporting standards.
- Highly proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- SQL and/or database query language proficiency and dealing with large datasets is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and become proficient with the Treasury analytical tools used to perform daily analyses.
- Being detail-oriented is critical to this position. The individual must tie-out and diligently review their work.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business operations and processes while leveraging that knowledge into improving results.
