POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst FP&A to join the Indianapolis, IN Finance team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a solid data warehouse providing meaningful analysis and predictive analysis to the business, drive productivity, and support decision making processes while acting as a key contributor to the Segment Finance team.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Analyzes business requirements and transforms data into key information for the business
  • Develops and maintains business intelligence solutions to generate detailed recurring analysis reports of e.g., Sales and Operations Planning, Trend Analysis, Market trends
  • Proactive modeling to increase transparency to drive business improvements
  • Establishes standardized reporting for internal and external purposes reflecting economic factors (e.g., commodity projections)
  • Acts as liaison between the segment and Group BI strategy and translates local needs to standard reports within the Business Intelligence Center (BICC)
  • Prepares and maintains documentation of standards and internal training
  • Drives standardization projects, BI requests including ERP/BI rollouts
  • Prepares reporting, oversee forecasting rhythms, and complete any ad hoc analysis required by business unit management, segment FP&A and corporate FP&A
  • Works in performance analysis, including P&L and Balance Sheet, in a multi plant environment
  • Provides financial support for new initiatives, feasibility studies, restructuring projects (plant context) and ad hoc data requests



REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or similar analytical discipline
  • Advanced degree and/or financial leadership program graduate preferred
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience; manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read code and support applications, reports, and processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and deliver results
  • Highly proficieent in data analytics, BI strategies in a multiple database and warehouse environment
  • Ability to apply sound business judgment and analytical skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of commodity hedging and analytical skills of markets and economic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally and across business boundaries to solve issues and drive projects to completion
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate at all levels with self-confidence (Executive Management)
  • Highly proficient in BI, Excel, SAC, Power BI, Infor, Oracle SQL data bases, PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience in regular transactions of HFM and SAP (and/or similar ERP system)
  • Experience in multinational environment
