Senior Financial Analyst
Position Summary:We are looking for an all-star Senior Finance Analyst to help in leading our FP&A and Finance Partnership practice. This individual will support the planning and forecasting process and providing value-added analysis and recommendations to support business growth. Additionally, they will act as a mentor to the Junior analysts.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes from initiation to approval
- Provide strong financial leadership focused on enabling the Finicity (Open Banking) to meet its financial goals
- Partner with Management to support Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
- Build and maintain budget and forecast templates for use by business partners
- Research, analyze and report on budget or forecast to actual variances for revenue and expenses
- Ability to sort/mine large sets of data from multiple data sources (ie: NetSuite, Oracle, Hyperion, Salesforce, Tableau) to identify trends/variances or areas of improvement
- Create ad hoc templates, reports, and analyses for use by managers to evaluate their businesses or key initiatives
- Drive KPI and other vital operation reporting and analysis for the business
- Collect and organize inputs required to maintain financial models or plans
- Work with Accounting department to ensure accurate preparation of monthly financial statements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information, including sensitive data
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Sound understanding of Financial Concepts, Forecasts, and Data Modeling
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience managing models in Workday Adaptive Planning
- Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Tableau, or Snowflake a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
- Three years of accounting or financial planning and analysis experience required.
