We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join the Outreach GTM Finance team. This critical hire will report to the Manager, GTM Finance, and have plenty of leadership visibility. They will partner with the post-sales organization to drive business insights and analysis to help ensure we at Outreach continue to be one with our customers.


The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for improving the post-sales organization’s financial status by analyzing and interpreting data and results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and supporting our financial planning and forecasting processes. This is a critical hire for the FP&A team at Outreach; the perfect candidate for this role will have a high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgment, and attention to detail.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Partnering and building relationships with post-sales leadership across Customer Success, Services, and Support
  • Driving the development of accurate and timely budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans and preparing monthly analysis comparing budget to actual results
  • Proactively analyzing and evaluating the business, identifying key operating trends, opportunities for growth, and more prudent expense management
  • Developing and maintaining financial and capacity models with thoughtful drivers to provide insight into business trends, productivity metrics, and potential investment areas
  • Leveraging data and insights to provide strategic and operational finance support to the post-sales organization to help drive customer adoption, retention, and expansion
  • Providing financial modeling support on programs and strategic initiatives across Customer Success, Services, and Support
  • Assisting with the preparation of the Board of Directors materials, management reporting, and project-based analyses that summarize business performance with recommendations for necessary actions or changes

Our Vision Of You

  • 3-5 years of progressive financial analysis experience
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, business analysis, FP&A, analytics, and experience with a financial planning software tool
  • Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company preferred
  • Prior experience in a services or post-sales finance role a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive structure in ambiguity
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to interact with senior leadership
  • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, MBA is a plu
