RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for Senior Financial Analyst to work within the Portfolio Management Division of a federal loan program office and become a part of our superior workforce in Washington, DC. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide onsite and remote federal program leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation of portfolio reports advising management and staff about the ongoing status of the portfolio on issues relating to exposure and risk
- Collect, handle, store, and synthesize data into coherent reports
- Provide data and analysis to support the development of portfolio reviews
- Develop preliminary information and analysis used to identify key portfolio review and compliance issues
- Provide accurate and timely data and analyses
- Under the supervision of management, draft Sector Reports, Monthly Portfolio Status Reports, Watch List, and Project Update Reports
- Perform quarterly data quality audits of Portfolio Management Division financial models
- Under the supervision of management, provide support in implementing and performing data quality assessments
- Contribute information and data for briefings for the Senior Program Leadership and other stakeholders
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client issued Public Trust
- Experience in project finance, accounting, financial services, judgment, or other relevant knowledge
- Financial reporting experience
- Strong problem solving/analytical skills and sound judgment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of fundamental business writing (writing sample required)
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree with 4 years experience or a Master's and 2 years experience
