Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Technical Accounting Project Set-Up team. The Project Set-Up team has the overall responsibility for establishing new projects in the accounting system by verifying that all contract awards/modifications are properly authorized. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst must be able to understand and apply GAAP so that revenue is properly recognized and reported financial results are accurate and in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley section 404.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create new, or update existing, projects in SAP when authorized contract awards or modifications are received
- Review contracts to ensure the documents are properly authorized.
- Assess contracts for performance obligations, segmentation, and proper method of revenue recognition.
- Support audits, as needed. (i.e., RI&S Internal Control Excellence (ICE), Internal Audit, PwC)
- Research technical accounting issues to maintain compliance to revenue recognition requirements.
- Support RI&S Mission Areas and Programs with project-related questions during planning.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or applicable discipline
- 2 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP desired, but not required.
- Ability to identify and analyze problems and develop solutions
- Communicate effectively to multiple levels within the organization.
- Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize workload.
- Attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
- Practical knowledge of Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) regulations and/or practices.
- Relevant experience in aerospace defense industry.
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or applicable discipline.
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs
or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $55,500 to $114,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
