Overview:

This position is REMOTE.

This position is the liaison for capital planning in the East Region.

  • Manage the capital budget by monitoring, processing and tracking capital requests and approvals.
  • Evaluate capital requests to determine adherence to established criteria and completeness of support.
  • Prepare reports to support the capital review committees and finance leaders.
  • Assist leaders with capital requests in the StrataJazz system.
  • Other miscellaneous activities to support the Finance Department and the ministry capital planning team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least five years of experience in a finance/accounting position. Excellent customer service and communications skills.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Other:
  • Ability to work with persons at all levels of the organization, including physicians and administrators.
  • Ability to work independently to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Established practice of paying attention to details and completing tasks thoughtfully.
  • Demonstrated ability to frame analytical questions, balance time, communicate results through clear written and oral presentation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong aptitude for learning new software.
