Description

The Koch Global Services (KGS) Finance team has an opening for a Senior Finance Director. This role partners with Koch businesses and capability teams as a key leader to define and implement leading practices in Record-to-Report (RTR) while monitoring SLAs/KPIs in our global service delivery teams.

A successful leader in this role will build strong relationships and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders. This communication will include proactive identification of issues, ensuring support for future transition and transformation strategies, identifying key business changes impacting RTR, and updates on performance.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Using Principle Based Management, provide mentorship, coaching and guidance to team members
  • Oversee delivery of services for the RTR tower across the global hubs by evaluating, implementing, and monitoring processes and technologies
  • Identify opportunities to track performance to identify bottlenecks or recurring issues in order to streamline processes.
  • Work with business and capability leaders to identify work to transition to global business services and seek feedback for current services provided
  • Work closely with the Project Management Team to monitor transitions--ensuring the plan, timeline, systems readiness, knowledge transfer, and financial control reviews are coordinated effectively
  • Partner with the RTR Transformation leader and IT teams to drive innovation
  • Review internal financial controls and ensure teams are compliant with corporate policies, practices and strategies
  • Resolve escalated operational issues and work on operations problem management to ensure sustained improvements
  • Partner with the Senior Finance Directors in Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash to drive value and improved controls as well as end-to-end reviews.



The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience with Finance or Accounting teams
  • Experience applying strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and presenting a point of view to key stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Strong understanding of general leader, balance sheet, P&L, and internal financial controls
  • Knowledgeable of RTR leading practices



What Will Put You Ahead

  • Possess a deep personal knowledge of Principle Based Management (PBM®) and be able to understand and effectively apply concepts to daily work, processes and systems
  • Ability to improve financial systems and processes through innovation and automation
  • Experience in global organizations
  • Experience leading manufacturing and/or corporate accounting
