We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Financial Business Partner/ Analyst to work closely with our US Clinical Operations team to focus on margin improvements. This role will be a key and trusted advisor to our US General Manager and their team, providing quality financial insight to guide the strategic direction.
We have 2 onsite: Austin, Texas and Novato/San Fran. Ideal candidate must be based here
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Preparation and management of Clinical Operations team budgets and resource requirements
  • Presentation of timely, insightful monthly reporting for Clinical Operations and the wider leadership team, identifying opportunities to improve business performance
  • Identify operating efficiencies and work collaboratively across the business to define, shape, and deliver initiatives to improve margin
  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships across the organization at all different levels and across multiple departments
  • Provide input and advice on new deals and assess impacts to future margins using scenario analysis
  • Work in partnership with the People Team to design, implement & manage a robust staffing and cost tracking model for Clinical Operations
  • Perform other ad-hoc analysis as needed to drive a greater understanding of business performance
  • Lead or contribute to projects as required
  • Actively contribute to the wider FP&A team - identifying ways of improving our financial processes and systems


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualified in a fast pace company undertaking a commercial finance role
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CPA) or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in a technology or healthcare driven business
  • Financial analysis and forecasting skills
  • Strong excel skills - these will be tested as part of the recruitment process
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced growth environment is essential
  • Excellent analytical skills, ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills - you will be expected to interact with multiple people of all seniorities around the business
  • Ability to work autonomously given the team are across multiple time zones
  • Degree level, preferably finance or business-related
