About the Role:
The Director of Venture Capital Investments within the FIV Venture Investment group will drive the strategy, engagement, and investment in select early stage Venture Capital companies aligned with our focus on innovative startups.
This will include building close partnerships with leading VCs, gaining access to VC deal flow and portfolios, bringing forward recommendations for investment in select VC funds, supporting negotiation and approval of VC investments, and finding ways for FIS to deliver value to select VC portfolio companies.
Responsibilities

• Identify and establish relationships with leading venture capital firms
• Manage deal flow and opportunity pipeline from venture capital firms
• Develop recommendations on potential venture capital investments
• Lead day to day engagement with venture capital investments
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify areas for FIS to provide value
• Oversee ongoing venture capital portfolio performance and reporting

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience in startup engagement and corporate venture
• Strong understanding of early stage startup investment space
• Highly collaborative and capable to work across all levels of an organization
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for new technology

• Capable of navigating dynamics of corporate organization
